Bangkok Weather

Bangkok city

Bangkok Warm Nights

Bangkok – the city of angels – bubbles with culture and life. Like most big cities the Thai capital is densely populated and highly congested. This congestion increases the intensity of the hot, humid weather in the city. Temperatures vary according to the time of year and that is why the busiest period for tourists is during the cool months (December to February) and is undoubtedly the best time to visit. There are calm breezes that tend to bring people out of their air-conditioned homes and hotels to enjoy a meal at an outdoor café or bar, no winter gear required. A light jacket is only needed occasionally.

During the hot season Bangkok can be quite uncomfortable. It is suggested that visitors bring sunscreen and a hat, especially if you are fair skinned. Also be sure to carry water with you to avoid dehydration. The rainy season in Bangkok (May to October) results in lots of street flooding and many traffic jams. Traffic sometimes comes to a complete stop as the rain starts but gets back to normal when the shower passes. Rainstorms can last anywhere from 30 minutes to several hours. These showers help to cool down the city after a hot day. Don’t be caught outside without an umbrella!

“Giving Back” – The Project

Our Goal is to plant 1,000,000 trees over the next 20 years. Initiated in 2008, we have planted 7,200 flourishing plants in the rainforest so far.

Our" Village Green" program supports local villages by keeping roads clean, preserving. Thai culture and rainforest tree planting. We also support a very successful wildlife re-population program involving many native species.

We are partnering with the Thai Government so we can do the ultimate good... preserving Thailand’s precious eco-system.

We educate everyone about the rain forest eco-system. More than 1000 children per year, (mostly orphans and under privileged children) fly each year free of charge. Another 2000 children fly for a modest fee. Education and wildlife awareness are our major goals.
