We would like to update concerned travelers coming to Thailand about the current political situation.

Within Bangkok all demonstrations have been limited to and contained within defined areas which are well away from the city center and Tourism areas.
With few exceptions demonstrations have been good natured and non violent.
As a result the police and authorities have seen no reason to impose any restrictions or extra precautions relating to freedom of movement such as curfews or any other restrictions, and in Bangkok the streets are calm and life goes on normally and safely.

Currently, there is no need for concern regarding personal safety when visiting Thailand. While we don't expect this to change, if it does we will let you know here on this site.

Located in ancient forests on a Thai preserve 55 minutes from Chiang Mai near the village of Mae Kompong, we chose this beautiful place because here we could offer the the best environment for a thrilling experience in the quiet majesty of the rain forest ecosystem.

We don't have a minimum age for kids - the main criteria is that they are a minimum of 120cm (4 feet tall). Young children are often taken in tandem - either by a responsible adult or a guide. Maximum weight is 150kg (330lbs) which is the max weight of the full harness. Our zip lines and rigging systems greatly exceed international standards.

Mae Kompong is 1300 meters above sea level and can get chilly - we suggest you bring a light jacket and long pants if you have them and a pair of sports shoes or shoes that do not drop off. Nevertheless none of these items are crucial. A camera is good to bring for the action. Backpacks and sunglasses are an unnecessary burden and there are storage facilities in the office when you arrive. It is also good to bring an open mind and a smile...

The Primate Habitat Restoration Project.

The Flight of the Gibbon Conservation Project, in collaboration with the local village of Mai On, the Forest Service, and the Forrest Restoration Research Unit of Chiang Mai University, planted 1500 fruit trees on Sunday to provide a refuge and food source for the dwindling primate population outside of Chiang Mai.
