  • Booking Questions:

  • Do you have availability on the dates I am coming?

Probably. As long as you are booking a few days in advance, we can usually accommodate you. We are open every day of the year. We ask that you book at least 1 day in advance.

  • I need to change my date! Is that ok?

Yes of course you can but please kindly advise us several days in advance.

  • How soon will I hear back from you after submitting my reservation on the web?

    Between 24-48 hours

  • Do you close for holidays?

Nope. We're open all year round!

  • I'm not sure about some of the details. Should I still use the booking form?

Don't worry, we're flexible. Just put in your best guesses about number of people and dates. We will contact you soon and at that time we can discuss any questions.

  • I need to cancel. What is your policy?

We accept cancellation but please kindly give us the notification and also the reasons.

  • Do you take credit card?

We don't take credit card for your reservation (its the honor system) and we only take cash which is due on arrival to the tour.

  • How and when do I pay?

We take cash (no credit cards) when you arrive at the tour

  • Is there a discounted price for Thai citizens?

For Thai nationals or Farang who show their work permit:

    • Chiang Mai Tours: 1610 Baht per person
    • Bangkok & Pattaya Tours: 1750 baht per person
  • Do farang who live in Thailand get the Thai discount?

Yes, with a valid work permit

  • We already have a car. Can we drive ourselves?

If you are in the Bangkok & Pattaya area, then yes. Our tours are located at the Khao Kheeo Open Safari and is not far and relatively easy to find. See the directions and map from Bangkok to Chonburi or map from Pattya to Chonburi.

If you are in the Chiang Mai area we ask that you NOT drive to Mae Kompong. It is a small mountain village with small roads and very little parking. We take great measures in minimizing our impact there. In addition, the village heads have specifically requested guests to not drive themselves. We ask that you get picked up with our comfortable, air-con van.

  • If we drive ourselves to Chonburi from Bangkok or Pattaya, is there a discount?

Sorry, we cannot offer a discount for people driving themselves. See the directions and map from Bangkok to Chonburi or map from Pattya to Chonburi.

  • I am a tour agent and would like to offer your tour. Is that possible?

Yes please so not hesitate to contact us so that we can provide you some necessary information and also for further business.

  • Do you operate during monsoon season? If so, how does the weather affect the tour?

We operate year-round. Monsoon season is one of our favourite times of year, many people have the misconception that it rains continuous heavy downpours for months on end - the truth is quite different. We experience short bursts of heavy rain but generally in the afternoon or evening when the course is closed. We like this time of year because the air is fresh and crisp and all the plant life is blooming...

If it should look like rain during a flight, we still go for it and it can add to the fun. There is rainwear available on request.

  • Families & Children:

  • Can children go?

Absolutely. There is not a minimum age but we do have a minimum height of 1 meter (3 feet 3 inches) tall to fit in the harness properly. Young children are often taken in tandem with a guide.

  • Is there a discount for children?

There are no discounts for children as although we love to have them - they often require extra care from our staff. But this is definitely a family-friendly adventure!

  • How safe is it?

Very safe. You are led by experienced guides who ensure you are properly connected to the safety equipment at all times. We are the only canopy adventure in Thailand designed, built and overseen by international experts from New Zealand with more than 20 years of experience. We spend considerable time and money for ongoing guide safety training.

  • Can pregnant women go on the zip lines and Go Gibbon?

We do not recommend it, primarily because you are in a harness.

  • Requirements & Restrictions:

  • How fit do we need to be to do the zipline tour?

The maximum weight we allow is 130 kg (286 lbs). However, our zip lines and rigging systems are engineered to hold much more than this and greatly exceed international standards.

Yes, we love to work with large groups of screaming kids. Really. Please contact us through the booking form and let us know what you are thinking.

We consider this on a case-by-case basis. But please do contact us, let us know the details, and we will see what we can do.

  • What are the max group sizes?

Our usual group size is 6-7 people which most people find comfortable. We have a maximum limit of 9 per group.

  • What to Bring:

  • What should I bring on the trip?

Please bring a pair of shoes that do not easily fall off. A camera with a strap is good to bring for the action. Backpacks and sunglasses are an unecessary burden and there are storage facilities in the office when you arrive. It is also good to bring an open mind and a smile…

The Chiang Mai tours are located in Mae Kompong village, which is 1300 meters above sea level. Occasionally it can get chilly - we suggest you bring a light jacket and long pants if you have them, although it is not crucial that you bring them.

  • Is there a safe place to leave my valuables?

Yes, you can leave them at our headquarters.

  • Who is this appropriate for?

  • How high are the ziplines? I am afraid of heights.

About 70-80 meters at the highest. The 1st and 2nd platforms we created to ease the fear in people's hearts. Most people, even the people with a great fear of heights, feel comfortable a bit after they start. The views, the safety equipment and the professional guides all help.

  • What level of fitness is required?

It's exciting, but not physically demanding. The Go Gibbon experience requires more agility and fitness, but most people should be fine. Please see our video to get a sense of what is required.

  • Are we fed? Is it tasty?

Yes! It is a Thai set menu with fresh cut fruits.

  • Are there vegetarian options?

    Yes, no problem.

  • What about water? Should we bring our own?

We will provide water, but you are welcome to bring your own if you wish.

  • Accommodations

  • Do you provide accommodation?

We only provide accommodations as part of our multi-day tour packages. In Chiang Mai we have a village homestay and in Chonburi we have a hotel we work with.

  • Miscellaneous:

  • I will be in both Chiang Mai and Bangkok (or Pattaya). Which tour is better?

Wow - that's hard. It is your call. They are different, but we love them both. If you can only go on one, either will be fantastic.

  • I would like to buy a t-shirt separately. How do I do that?

Yes you can buy at the site and the price is 450 baht, we do have various sizes and colors for you to choose. You can do it at the tour site.

  • Safety:

  • How safe is it?

Very safe. You are led by experienced guides who ensure you are properly connected to the safety equipment at all times. We are the only jungle canopy adventure in Thailand designed, built and overseen by international experts with more than 20 years of experience. • What is Flight of the Gibbon?

  • What is Flight of the Gibbon?

Flight of the Gibbon is a ride through the rainforest canopy using a secure body harness suspended from a steel cable, which is strung between the magnificent trees. If you watch our video you will see!

  • Why is it called Flight of the Gibbon?

Because it mimics the way gibbons navigate thru the forest and because Flight of the Gibbon as a company is committed to the preservation and conservation of these magnificent primates.

We contribute 10% of all profits towards gibbon conservation and other conservation projects.

“Giving Back” – The Project

Our Goal is to plant 1,000,000 trees over the next 20 years. Initiated in 2008, we have planted 7,200 flourishing plants in the rainforest so far.

Our" Village Green" program supports local villages by keeping roads clean, preserving. Thai culture and rainforest tree planting. We also support a very successful wildlife re-population program involving many native species.

We are partnering with the Thai Government so we can do the ultimate good... preserving Thailand’s precious eco-system.

We educate everyone about the rain forest eco-system. More than 1000 children per year, (mostly orphans and under privileged children) fly each year free of charge. Another 2000 children fly for a modest fee. Education and wildlife awareness are our major goals.
